Born in Laupahoehoe, Gwen was a retired nurse from Hilo Medical Center. Gwen was the devoted wife of 55 years to her husband, Dennis. The beloved mother of Heather, Irene, and Michael. Gwen was also a loving grandmother to numerous grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, and brothers, Leighton, Baron, Ivan, Kevin, and Dan. She was preceded in death by her mother and brother. Gwen also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. At Gwen's request, services will be private and attended only by family members. Gwen asked for no flowers or koden.
