With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Guyton Bennie Turner of Perry, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Guyton left this world on March 7, 2026 at the age of 99, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Guyton may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hilton Turner and Sally Turner (Burns); and his siblings, Earlon Turner and Erion Carter. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Turner (Hollis); his sons, James Turner and David Turner (Judy); and his grandson Daniel Turner (Cama). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel (2932 US Hwy 41, Fort Valley, GA 31030). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Perry Memorial Gardens (2106 Macon Rd, Perry, GA 31069).
