Guy H. Kaylor, age 95, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026. Born on May 10, 1930, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late S.D. Kaylor and Rosa Kaylor, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Karl Kaylor and Jack Kaylor.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Florence Kaylor; his children, Karan Bush (Tim), Clay Kaylor (Janet), and Ann Clarke (David); eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense pride and joy.
Guy built a distinguished career in the textile industry as Vice President of Manufacturing at Wehadkee Yarn Mills. A lifelong resident of Talladega, he was a faithful member and Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church, and he gave generously of his time through the Rotary Club, United Way, the Talladega Vocational Advisory Board, the Citizens Hospital Board, and as Past President of the Chamber of Commerce. He loved golf, remained a proud and enthusiastic Auburn alumnus, and above all cherished time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His life was guided by a strong faith in God and a deep commitment to family, travel, and the Auburn values he faithfully passed on to those he loved.
Guy will be remembered for his faith, leadership, and the love he shared with his family and community.
