Gregory Michael Heming

Suddenly, at home in Thorndale, ON on Thursday, March 12th, 2026, Gregory Aloysius Michael Heming passed away in his 64th year.Loved best friend and longtime companion of Sharon Fletcher.Predeceased by his parents Herman Johannes Heming (1997) and Maria Jacoba Bernadette Heming (2020) and his eldest brother Marcel Heming (2012).Gregory is survived by his siblings Marianne van Geel (Adrian), Adrian Heming (Cheryl), Jim Heming (Nurdan) and Ron Heming (Helen).He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family and friends. Greg will also be dearly missed by the Fletcher's, Allan Fletcher (Vicky), Beth Horvath (Tony) and Nancy Donkers (Rick) and their families.Greg was a graduate from Ridgetown College and spent most of his life as a dairy farmer. The only thing Greg loved more than farming were his cherished cows.Greg enjoyed talking with everyone he met. He liked to share his knowledge of farming, history or current events.Greg's big infectious laugh will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.A graveside service and interment will take place at a later date.Memorial donations in Greg's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (www.heartandstroke.ca) or to the Canadian Red Cross (www.redcross.ca)
