Gregory Baker ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by River Valley Funeral & Cremation on Mar. 16, 2026.Gregg H. Baker, age 64, passed away on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026. He was born in Omak, Washington on October 27, 1961, to Harry Baker and Ann Fortune. Raised in Dallas, Texas before moving back to Omak for his senior year of high school, Gregg built a life centered around hard work, family, and the land he loved. He was a kind, caring, and giving soul whose life was defined by the way he showed up for the people around him.Gregg found his greatest happiness in being with his family. He loved his dogs, his orchard, and the pride that came from the hard work he poured into it every day. He also loved playing softball and golf, cheering on the Seahawks, and spent countless hours coaching his children in sports, cheering them and his grandchildren on and creating memories that will be treasured forever. He carried the heart and mindset of a great coach not only on the field, but in life. The values he lived by-kindness, persistence, generosity, and dedication-shaped the family he built and the people we have become. Gregg is survived by his love of 47 years, wife Jennifer; his children, Brittney (Kyle), Ashley (James), Lindsey, and Austin (Kailey); his seven grandchildren, Caleb, Halle, Paityn, Fallon, Mak, Noah, and Sloane, who were a constant source of pride and joy in his life; his sister, Rosemary(Jim) Chandler of Spokane; his cousin, Wayne Baker of Omak; and his nieces and nephews.Gregg wished for his life to be celebrated with family and friends. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date as the family takes time to process the depth of this unexpected loss. While we are all heartbroken, we know his love, strength, and example will continue to guide us for generations to come.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
