Gregory Daniel Discher

Gregory Daniel Discher, 27, of North East, Pennsylvania, born November 23, 1998, passed away unexpectedly on March 11, 2026.

A graduate of North East High School who briefly attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Greg was known for his kind heart and gentle spirit. He played football from his earliest years in Little Gridders through his junior and senior seasons at North East High School, and remained a devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan throughout his life. He also earned a High Red Belt in Taekwondo at a young age. Greg cherished his role as uncle to his nieces and nephews, who looked up to him with admiration and love.

For the past five years, Greg worked as a Lead Fire Alarm Inspector for the Wilkins Company in Erie, where he was excited about a recent promotion and new responsibilities. He brought joy to everyone around him and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Discher, and father, Daniel Discher, both of North East; his brother, Richard Discher of North East; his sister, Donna King of Vincennes, Indiana; his special cousin, Tiauna Schweitzer; and many loving uncles, aunts, and cousins. His best friends Jake, Aden, and Nick remained a constant source of support.
