Gregory Bruce

Gregory “Greg” Bruce, beloved husband, stepfather, and Pop-pop, passed away on March 11, 2026, at the age of 66.

Born on July 6, 1959, in Troy, Pennsylvania, Greg was the son of Blanche Burlingame of Troy. He was preceded in death by his brother Norman Bruce.

Greg was an avid hunter and fisherman who took great pride in his woodworking and photography. He loved planting gardens alongside his wife and, above all, cherished every moment spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. A proud member of the NRA and a Son of the American Legion, he also enjoyed competing in his pool league.

He is survived by his loving wife, Loretta Bruce; his five stepchildren, Aryc Hughson of Troy, Pennsylvania, Tayce (Jared) Renzo of Troy, Pennsylvania, Syme (Tina) Hughson of Granville Summit, Pennsylvania, Onyhka (Michael) Dosch of Powers Lake, North Dakota, and Dyshon Hughson of Troy, Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his siblings, Todd (Tammy) Bruce, Paula (Steve) Updike, and Rich Bruce, along with several cherished nieces and nephews.
