Grazyna Szylak

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Grazyna Szylak of Downers Grove, Illinois, who passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Piotr Szylak; her children, Magdalena Betanzos (Israel), Urszula Szylak and Maciej Szylak (Jezenia Mohn); her granddaughters, Zoe and Alice Betanzos; and her siblings, Zofia, Teresa, Leszek and Janek. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Knollcrest Funeral Home (1500 S Meyers Rd, Lombard, IL 60148). A prayer will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 10:30 AM at 21W411 W Sunset Ave, Lombard, IL 60148.

In lieu of flowers, Masses in honor of Grazyna throhgh Divine Mercy Polish Mission are appreciated.
