Grant "Butch" "Eddie" O. Daniels Jr.

Grant “Butch” “Eddie” O. Daniels Jr., age 79, of Wausau, passed away on March 9, 2026, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Born in Milwaukee to the late Grant and Dorothy (Arendt) Daniels, he graduated from high school before devoting many years to a dual career with the United States Postal Service and the United States Navy.

On October 19, 2013, Grant married Debbie Kreager of Wausau at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Merrill. He cherished time spent riding his ATV with friends and family, dancing, deer hunting, and fishing, often traveling to pursue his favorite spots. Grant also enjoyed sharing his musical talents by playing around the local community. Above all, he remained a steadfast presence for his family, always finding reasons to gather everyone together.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Daniels; his sister, Nancy Hindal; his aunt, Beverly Wiloff; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. In addition to his parents, Grant was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Robert Hindal.
