Later in life she shared a wonderful partnership with Charlie Hart. Together they traveled and boated across the United States, embracing adventure and making memories wherever the journey took them.Grace lived life with a smile that could light up any room. Known affectionately as "Gracie" or "Miss Grace," she had a natural warmth that made everyone feel welcome. Her generosity knew no limits and she had a special way of making people feel like family. Many who were not related by blood considered Grace a second mom because of the care, encouragement, and love she shared so freely.Grace dedicated more than forty years of her career to Hart Seed, where she built lasting friendships and earned the admiration of everyone who knew her.Family was always at the center of Grace's life. She loved bringing people together around food, music, laughter, and celebration. Whether it was picnics, beach trips, bowling, tending to flowers, or simply gathering with loved ones, Grace had a gift for making every moment special. If there was an event, Grace made sure it was fun for everyone.Grace was the beloved daughter of Iwan and Kateryna Kolaczenko. She was predeceased by her siblings Dmytro Kolaczenko, Mykola Kolaczenko, Anatole Kolaczenko, Igor Kolaczenko, Maria Komarenko, Alexandria Dlugokecki, and Vera Plotnikoff.She is survived by her loving children Wayne Mackey and his spouse Becky, and Michael Govang and his spouse JulieAnn. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Audrey Mackey, Aynsley Mackey, Christopher Govang, and Stephen Govang. Along with special Nieces and Nephews as well.Grace's life was defined by love, generosity, hard work, and joy. Her smile, her kindness, and her ability to bring people together will be remembered by everyone fortunate enough to know her.Friends and relatives are invited to call on Grace's family on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Naubuc Avenue, Glastonbury. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Grace's life will follow at 11:30 am in Corpus Christi Church of Christ the King Parish, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Village Cemetery, 1 Marsh Street, Wethersfield.
