Harvey, 86 of Lafayette, Ohio passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026.She was born October 27, 1939, in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Thomas and Stella (Lester) Davidson.Grace's greatest love was her husband Tom, followed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchild and her large Davidson family. She enjoyed knitting, her sweaters were works of art, traveling the world, cruising in their sports cars and rolling her eyes at Tom when he got a little over-enthusiastic with either the sports car or their garden.From early on Grace was a talented musician and singer. She played the piano, the drums in the marching band and sang in many choirs throughout her life. She once even played the typewriter in the concert band. She was a Past Worth Advisor in The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls.Grace met Tom at a church function and began a lifetime of love. They were married on December 26, 1959. They traveled and camped all over the United States and Canada, adding a growing family to share in the fun. Once they retired, their travels expanded to Europe, South America, Asia and all points in between. They were avid cruisers, both on Royal Caribbean ships and in their Miata.Grace was the anchor in the lives of her children and grandchildren. She instilled a love of music, the importance of laughter, the need to not take yourself too seriously and the danger of trucks on the highway. She was known for her smile and made sure every holiday gathering was warm, wonderful and most of all fun.Grace was an administrative assistant by trade and worked her way up to Legal Secretary at Westfield Companies after taking time off to raise two kids.Grace is survived by her son, Tom (Kim Buser); daughter, Lindy (Jason Gelles); grandchildren, Emma Harvey (Tyler Koppes), Isaac Harvey, T.J. Love, Jarod Harvey (Katie Gable), Sierra Harvey, Becca Lob (Dan), and Lydia Will; great-granddaughter, Camila Marie Lob; sister, Jean Ackman (Jim), and sister-in-law Dee Andreaco (Jut).In addition to her husband Tom, Grace was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Dot Schwirian (Fred), Florence Dalzell (Ray), Ruth Schemm (Bob), Bud Davidson (Marge), George Davidson (Jean) and sister-in-law Joyce Wagner (Tom).A memorial service and celebration of a life well lived will be held May 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Lodi United Methodist Church, 320 Medina St., Lodi, OH 44254. Rev. J. Paige Boyer will officiate.
