Gordon D. LittleHead Sr.

Gordon D. LittleHead SR, 69, of Wolf Point, MT passed away on March 6, 2026. He was born November 28, 1956 in Wolf Point, MT. He was the sixth child born to Arnold C. LittleHead SR and Elaine (White Hawk) LittleHead Cantrell. Gordon attended schools in Wolf Point, MT and Lander Wyoming. Gordon enlisted in the Army October 12, 1976. He was stationed in Germany. He was honorably discharged August 14,1978. After he returned home, he worked at a lot of jobs. He worked for the tribes, the city of Wolf Point, he seismographed for quiet a few years. He seismographed in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming all at different times, sometimes returning to the same state but different locations. Gordon also worked for A&S for 9 years until there closing. After that he went to work for the post office for eighteen years. Due to health reasons Gordon retired early.

In 1981 Gordon met Dinah and married in 1982. Together they had two sons, Robert and Gordon JR.

He loved fishing, camping, boating and flying across the water at top speed. His first boat was Lyman Claytons 1967 blue closed bow boat. He was happy backing that old boat down at the marina among all the fancy speed boats, pontoons, crest liners and others. He got it out on the water, made it to the open water and went speeding off. In 1999 he and his sons tore down the old boat, rebuilt it and traded it in for a brand new 1999 crest liner. Gordon was also a Green Bay Packers fan. For one Christmas his sons bought him a share in the Green Bay Packers, Shareholders Inc.

Gordon is survived by his wife Dinah, sons Robert and Gordon JR. His brothers- Alvin (Sandy) LittleHead their children Marcus, Derrick, Jasmyn, Darryl, Tiare and grandchild. Curtis Cantrell and his children Kirsten, Hailey, Glenn and Darian and his eight grandchildren. Also, Arlyn LittleHead. His nephew Lionel Weeks and his daughter Shailee and three grandchildren. His niece Frances Combs-Weeks her children Christine, Joyce, Jared and Amanda also fourteen grandchildren. Olivia Jorgensen, her children Janica, Evelyn and Harris also three grandchildren. Dyan her children Danacia, Dawndra, Dacey and Davin also two grandchildren. Nephew Duane children Xanthia, Duane and Isaac and his nine grandchildren. Nephew William his children Steven, Thomas, Lucas and Brandon also two grandchildren. Nephew Francis his children Anthony and Francis. Michael Vandall his children Layla, Vanessa, and Brianna. Nephew Gerald “G” and grandchild. His nephew Raymond. Sister In Laws Sarah Figueroa and Judy Wagner. Also, Karen McNabb, Punkie Jackson, Linda McNabb and family. Penny, Vicki, Debbie, Shannon, Robert and wife. Also, Alan Hopkins and family. Nephews Jose’ Figueroa (Keena) Raquel, Kennedy, Creed, Azailia, Savannah and Aubrey. Raul Figueroa (Angie) Ammelia, Addie, Koda, Jared and Tehiya. Nephews Dana Buckles (Judy) and grandkids Hank Buckles (Ivy) and family. Also, all the Crowbelts, Big Horns, LeMays, Clouds, Youpees anybody else we may have forgotten.

Gordon was proceeded in death by his parents Arnold LittleHead SR and Elaine Cantrell. Aunts: Romaine Firemoon, Delphine LeMay, and Amanda Big Horn. Also, May Dumont and daughter Laura Forrest. His sister Evelyn LittleHead. His brothers Arnold JR, David, Benjamin and Gerald SR. His Mother-In-Law Eva Freeman. Gordon passed away while being prayed for. The peaceful look on his face showed he was no longer in pain or suffering. Gordon is with the Lord.

A viewing will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, March 13 at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 14 at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point with cremation to follow. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
