Born on March 16, 1967, in Vilusi, Banja Luka, he was the beloved son of the late Marinko† and Grozda Bogojevic. He was a loving brother to Ljubica and Gorica, and a cherished uncle to their children.Goran is survived by his wife, Anna Bogojevic; his children, Jasmina (Paul Prikos) and Stevan Bogojevic; his kumovi; and many dearly loved family members and friends throughout the United States and Europe.Goran came to the United States in 1995 to build a new life. He was formerly of Hot Springs, Arkansas and had been a longtime resident of Libertyville, where he worked as a mechanic for Weil Cadillac. Goran was a devoted member of the Serbian Orthodox community, belonging to local Serbian Orthodox churches. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, making homemade foods, and cherishing time with his family. He will be remembered for his warm spirit, steady hands, and the love he shared with those around him.Visitation will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at New Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery, 35240 W. Grant Avenue, Third Lake, Illinois 60046. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, with interment to follow at New Gracanica Cemetery. Arrangements by Burnett-Dane Funeral Home in Libertyville.
