Goldie Beckwith Burrell
February 22, 2026— March 3, 2026
Oak City, NC
Goldie Beckwith Burrell was brought into this world alongside her identical twin sister Opal Ann on February 22, 2026. Goldie was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect (hypoplastic left heart syndrome) at just 18 weeks old in utero. After being earthside for only 9 days, she was called home to Jesus in her mother's arms with daddy by her side on March 3, 2026. She has been fully healed with a brand-new heart in the arms of Jesus. We are joyful for this.
Goldie is survived by her loving parents Caylin and Amber Burrell, her twin sister Opal Ann Burrell, her three brothers Silas, Abel and Bryson, her grandparents, Keith and Linda Massengale, Andy Burrell and Linda Warren, and Wayne Rudd.
A private service for immediate friends and family will be at the family homestead on March 14, 2026. A public celebration of life/visitation with family and friends will be at 12:00 PM on March 14, 2026, at 3843 NC 142 Oak City, NC 27857.
Flowers can be sent to Carlise Funeral Home or to the family home (3843 NC 142 Oak City NC 27857). If you would like to send or bring flowers, the family will accept potted flowers or hanging plants so they can plant them in Goldie’s garden after her burial at the home.
