Gloria Valentina Ferkenhoff

Gloria Valentina Ferkenhoff, 92, of Cincinnati, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026, at The Wellington at North Bend Crossing. Born on February 10, 1934, in Batesville, Indiana, she was the youngest child of Harry and Mathilda (née Billman) Ferkenhoff.

Gloria earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University. She devoted her career to healthcare, serving first as a compassionate nurse and later in administration for hospitals and nursing homes. She brought together genuine care for others with strong leadership, always working to improve patient care and operations.

She found quiet joy in music, the companionship of her beloved dogs, and the simple moments spent with family. Gloria was preceded in death by her brother, Carl Ferkenhoff, and her sisters, Olivia Bentfield, Clotilda Schreiner, Margaret Hooten, Elverna Comer, Magdalen Bartling, Eugena Willett, Juanita Chappelow, and Mary Ferkenhoff.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly and will always remember her gentle spirit and generous heart.
