She was born in Santa Ana, California, and raised in Santa Cruz County.Gloria was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy in life was caring for her family. She shared 50 loving years of marriage with her husband, Robert L. Rodriguez, until his passing in 2020.She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and her parents, Erminio and Elinora Valdiez. Gloria is survived by her children, Sylvia (Raymond), Andrew, and Lorraine; her grandchildren, Yevette, Angela, Brianna, Isaiah, and Ashlynn; her great-grandson, Julian, and her siblings; Delia, Novert, and Olga.She enjoyed watching baseball, going to the casino, and shopping, but above all she loved spending time with her family. Gloria will be remembered for her kindness, humor, and the love she always showed to those around her.A rosary will be held March 29, 2026, at Mehl's Chapel in Watsonville at 7p.m. Funeral Mass will follow on March 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Valley Catholic Church in Watsonville.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
