She was the wife of the late Stanley Marino.Born in Franklin, October 14,1925, the daughter of the late Biagio and Giulia (Rofino) Palumbo, Gloria was a lifelong Franklin resident.She was 1943 graduate of Franklin High School.Gloria had worked as a clerk for Putnam Investments and had previously worked as a teller at Dean Bank.Gloria enjoyed her work life and spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved shopping and decorating her home.She is survived by her children, John Marino and his wife Elizabeth of Blackstone and Anne Marino Einhorn and her husband Gordon of Middletown, Pennsylvania.She was the sister of the late Biagio and Albert Palumbo, Georgette Chiccarelli, Anne Manella and Frances Pratt.Gloria is also survived by her grandchildren, Max, Alexander, Zachary, Giulia, Abigail and Jack and great-grandson Teddy.Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 12 in St. Mary's Church at 11:00.Burial will be in the parish cemetery.Calling hours will be on Thursday from 9:00-10:45 a.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin.In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
