Born on May 6, 1944, in Bee Springs, Edmonson County, KY, she was the cherished only child of John and Ivy Mae Saltsman Sensabaugh. Gloria's life was a testament to her loving nature, her unwavering faith, and her dedication to her family.Gloria's journey through life was one marked by devotion and service. On December 19, 1970, she married her beloved husband, Ronny Renfrow, in Morgantown, KY. Their union was blessed with 55 years of shared dreams and enduring love. Together, they raised three wonderful children: Jason Renfrow (Karen) of Clarkson, KY, Craig Renfrow of Morgantown, KY, and Kristen Tucker (Harley) of Morgantown, KY. Gloria's joy was multiplied with the arrival of her grandchildren, Nathen Renfrow of Morgantown, KY, Gabriella Renfrow of Lawrenceburg, KY, Kennedy Tucker of Morgantown, KY, and Jaxon Tucker of Morgantown, KY. Her love extended to several nieces, nephews, and cousins.Professionally, Gloria was as dedicated as she was in her personal life. She began her career at Sumitomo Wiring and, with a thirst for knowledge and self-improvement, returned to school to earn her business degree. Her career path led her to various community roles, where she made a lasting impact until her retirement. Gloria's work ethic and commitment to her community were unparalleled, and she left an indelible mark on all the lives she touched.Gloria's interests were as diverse as they were passionate. A faithful member of Renfrow Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, she lived her faith every day and found strength and solace in her relationship with her Lord and Savior. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she was their unwavering supporter, always present and always encouraging. Gloria's love for reading allowed her to explore worlds beyond her own, while her enthusiasm for the UK Wildcats was a source of excitement and camaraderie. An avid gardener, she took pleasure in planting flowers, creating beauty that reflected the joy she found in nature. Traveling to the beach was one of her favorite pastimes, where she cherished the serenity and wonder of the ocean.Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday, March18, 2026 at 1:00pm with Bro. Paul Parks and Bro. David Daugherty officiating. Burial will be in the Renfrow Trinity Cemetery where Jimmy Renfrow, Neil Hatcher, Kaleb Parks, Nathan Renfrow, Scotty Carrol and Faron Renfrow will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm and Wednesday 8:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
