Pleasant, SCGloria Cox Kroll, 91, widow of George Dewey Kroll, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, at her home in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.A daughter of the late William Talbert and Isla Miles Cox, Gloria was born on January 10, 1935, in Hemingway, South Carolina. She lived a life full of love, faith, and dedication to her family and passions.A proud graduate of Hemingway High School, Gloria went on to build a career as a secretary for various businesses including Charleston Supply. Her work ethic and commitment were evident in all she did. However, her greatest joy and priority in life were her children and family.Gloria was an avid bowler who earned numerous trophies over the years, showcasing her competitive spirit and love for the sport. She was an avid Gamecock's and Dallas Cowboy's fan. She also had a remarkable green thumb and found immense happiness working in her garden. Her nurturing nature extended beyond plants; she was known for having "the biggest heart in the world," a sentiment shared by all who knew her.A lifelong Pentecostal Holiness Christian, Gloria's faith was a cornerstone of her life. While she attended several churches throughout her journey, she always considered Rehobeth Pentecostal Holiness Church in Hemingway her spiritual home.Gloria is survived by sons Craig (Jennifer Hard) Kroll and Erick Kroll; grandchildren Alexis (Alex) Tanner and Dillon Kroll; great-grandchild Bodie Bear Tanner; and brother Sherrell (Linda) Cox.In addition to her husband and parents, Gloria was predeceased by two brothers, Norman Cox, Rudolph Cox as well as two sisters, Louise Cox Hughes and Blondell Cox Cook.The Kroll brothers would like to extend a heart-felt thank you to Jennifer Hard for the special love and care that she provided for their mother.A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.Please sign the guest book at morris-funeralhome.comTo plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
