Her loving son, Matt, who lives in the same area as the center was faithfully at her side at the end. Matt's wife, Chelsea, who is a P.A., was also a blessing during Gloria's time at the center. Matt and Chelsea's son, Owen, and daughter, Brynn, were both dearly loved by "Glo", and they visited frequently.Gloria's husband of over 55 years, George, is still living in their home in Houston from which he commuted several times each month, as did Matt and Chelsea, during the course of Gloria's residency at the center.Gloria was a graduate of North Texas State University where she was a Yucca Beauty and Delta Gamma. Subsequently, Gloria went on to earn a master's degree at the University of Texas Austin. From there, she returned to North Texas State University as an English instructor.
