Gloria J. Sherred

Gloria J. Sherred, 73, affectionately known as “Aunt Glo,” of Greenville, entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 8, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Ezell Sherred and James Starr. She was preceded in death by her son, Shawn L. Sherred, and her loving niece, Haroldette Andricka Beeks.

She leaves behind cherished memories with her daughter, Dawn (Allen) Cook of Greenville, South Carolina; her granddaughter, Téyler Armani Makenzie Cook of the home; two devoted nieces, Alexandria (Mark) Beeks-White of Greenville and Antoinette Beeks of Columbia; two nephews, Harold André Beeks of Columbia and Christopher Antoine Beeks of Woodruff; and a very special great-nephew, LeKayle Burdine of Greenville, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Aunt Glo was a beloved figure whose warmth and presence touched the lives of all who knew her, especially those she called family. Her memory will continue to live on through the love she shared and the bonds she nurtured throughout her life.
