Gletta Taylor ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors on Mar. 5, 2026.On March 3, 2026, Gletta Gean Lawrence Taylor, age 83, of Pine Bluff, went home to be with the Lord.Gletta was born December 8, 1942, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to Homer and Eleen Lawrence of Grant County, Arkansas. She was a loving wife to Wayne, a proud mother to Lisa, and the very best Grannie to her grandsons Jacob and Lukas. Her family was her greatest joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.She is survived by her husband, Wayne Taylor; daughter, Lisa Gail Trussell of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and her husband, Wesley; her grandsons, Jacob Mayberry of Bryant, Arkansas, and his wife Hillary, and Lukas Mayberry of Hensley, Arkansas; and her precious great-granddaughters, Marley and Caroline. She is also survived by her sister, Peggy North of California; her special friend and caregiver Pam Blanton; and many extended family members and dear friends who meant the world to her. She was preceded in death by an infant son, James Douglas Taylor, and several siblings.A woman of faith, Gletta spent many years faithfully serving both Providence and Pleasant Home Missionary Baptist Churches where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir-two things she loved dearly For many years, Gletta worked at Watson Chapel Picture Frame, where she helped customers preserve their memories while also providing insight on décor selections to beautify their homes. She had a special gift for making people feel welcome, and many customers left not only with a framed picture, but with a new friend.Gletta enjoyed camping, wagon riding, and attending rodeos-especially when her grandsons were involved-and spending time with the people she loved most. She loved all things Christmas, from decorating her home to finding the perfect gifts, and she delighted in celebrating the entire season with family and friends. She also enjoyed watching Razorback basketball and her favorite game shows.Gletta will be remembered for her warm smile, her kind heart, her strong faith, and the love she poured into her family. Those who knew and loved her will remember her in their own special way.Services will be held on March 7, 2026 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son, 807 Cherry Street, Pine Bluff, Arkansas 71601.
