Roeckenhaus, age 79, of Breese, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026, at his home. He was born June 20, 1946, in Breese, a son of the late Michael and Marie (nee Peters) Roeckenhaus.In addition to his parents, Glennon was preceded in death by his sister, Genevieve Lane and brother-in-law, Donald "Butch" Tebbe.Glennon is survived by his children, Eric (Dawn) Roeckenhaus of Breese, Jason (friend, Mary Duncan) Roeckenhaus of Arnold, MO, and Aaron (Angela) Roeckenhaus of Highland; special friend, Barb Arter of Breese; grandchildren, Tara (Russell) Sudholt, Joshua (Taylor) Roeckenhaus, Kenton (Sara) Roeckenhaus, Dalton Roeckenhaus, Bradyn (fiancée, Sarah Linafelter) Roeckenhaus, Camden Roeckenhaus, Magdelyn Roeckenhaus, and Dawson Roeckenhaus; great-grandchildren, Stella and Colson Sudholt, Everett and Levi Roeckenhaus, and Oaklyn Roeckenhaus; sister, Willie Tebbe of Carlyle; and nieces and nephews.Glennon worked as a truck driver for Brown Brothers Trucking in Nashville. He was known for his strong work ethic and the pride he took in his profession. In his free time, he enjoyed tinkering in his shed and building trailers. He had a special love for his dogs and found his greatest joy in spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who meant the world to him.Visitation will be Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Breese.In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and will be received at the visitation or by mail at Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
