Glenna Mary (Grant) Miller passed away peacefully in her home in Bethany, Oklahoma, on March 8, 2026, one day short of her 91st birthday, surrounded by family.
Born on the family farm, the former Fort Arbuckle, in Garvin County, Oklahoma, on March 9, 1935, to CW “Dick” Grant and Kathryn Ann Grant, Glenna graduated from Woodland High School in 1953. She went on to attend the University of Oklahoma, where she met Donald Miller of Oklahoma City at the Methodist Student Union. They married on August 13, 1955, and moved to southern California, where she completed her degree in Music Education at the University of California.
Glenna is survived by her sisters Marilyn Saylors and Charlotte Kesinger, her sons Donald Grant Miller and Joel Kurt Miller, her daughters Amy Maria Lemke and Mary Susan Pierce, four grandchildren Christopher Pierce, Hannah Pierce, Ellis Pierce, and Hayley Thompson, one great-granddaughter Ida Safran, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Amy Lou Turner, her nephew Andrew Miller, and her grandson Garrison Miller.
She is remembered for making every person she met feel special, because she truly believed they were.
