Glenn R. Underwood

Glenn R. Underwood passed away on March 9, 2026. A proud veteran of the United States Army, he was a man who embraced the outdoors with grit and genuine craftsmanship. Whether hunting, fishing, or mudding, Glenn found his greatest joy in the natural world. He was a skilled woodworker who devoted many hours to restoring and caring for his beloved 1968 Chevy truck, and he brought his own spirited energy to everything he loved, including breakdancing.

He is survived by his three children, Brittani Ledbetter, Cody McDaniel, and Jacob Underwood; his father, Ray Underwood Sr.; and his siblings, Ray and Dianne Underwood, and Anna and David Martin. Glenn was a proud grandfather to his many grandchildren and a great-grandfather to one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha McCartney.

His family will remember him every time a fishing line hits the water, a classic engine roars to life, or a favorite song begins to play. In his honor, they encourage heading outdoors, casting a line, or taking a drive in a classic truck.
