Busker, 81, of Millsboro, DE, passed away peacefully at home on March 7, 2026, surrounded by the love of his daughters. He was welcomed into the world on June 21, 1944 in Ridley Park, PA, to Glenn W. and Patsy C. Busker. Glenn grew up in Smyrna, DE, and was a graduate of Smyrna High School, Class of 1962.In 1966, Glenn graduated from the Delaware State Police Academy, beginning a distinguished career in law enforcement. He served the citizens of Delaware with integrity for 15 years, retiring as a Sergeant in 1981.Beyond his professional life, Glenn's heart was often on the water. An avid fisherman, he turned his passion into a professional pursuit by completing the Captain's course in May 2004 and receiving his Captain's Certification in September of that year. Whether he was navigating the waters, duck hunting, or enjoying his time in Iowa helping in the fields, Glenn found peace and purpose in hard work, and pride in doing what he loved.Glenn's greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his two daughters, Deb Scroggin and Robyn Busker, and his bonus daughter, Laura (Chuck) Say. He was the cherished grandfather of Taylor Ellis, Tyler Ellis, Tanner Ellis, Brock Bahlmann, Britni Bahlmann, and Trace (Sarah) Say. His legacy continues through his beloved great-grandchildren, Caellen Bahlmann and Serena Say. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn W. Langley-Busker and Patsy Collins Busker, in addition to his four legged soul mates Gonzo, Sheena, Caesar, Gunner and Boomer.Glenn requested a Celebration of Life in place of a funeral. Glenn will be laid to rest in a private family ceremony next to his parents at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Smyrna, both events being planned for a date in June.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, honoring the sacrifice of first responders and veterans at the link provided.https://dogood.t2t.org/IMOGlennBuskerThe family would like to extend immense gratitude to the University of Pennsylvania Hospital EP and Heart Failure teams along with many hospital doctors, nurses and support staff for granting us an extra ten years of memories. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
