November 16, 1942— March 12, 2026
Vinita, OK
Glenn Clayton Osburn, 83, of Vinita, Oklahoma, passed peacefully to his Heavenly home surrounded by his loving family.
Born on Route 66 in the back seat of a 1935 Oldsmobile at the Little Cabin Creek Bridge, Glenn served his country as a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a hardworking farmer and skilled mechanic who devoted more than 30 years of service to REC before retiring. In retirement, he continued doing what he loved most—working with his hands, flipping houses with family, and sharing his knowledge, humor, and strong work ethic with the next generations. He found deep satisfaction in helping others and fixing things, whether cars, houses, or simply offering his time and wisdom.
Above all, Glenn was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who took great pride in his family. He cherished the simple life, the land he worked, and the people he loved. His faith in Jesus was evident in his kindness and in the many lives he touched. Those who knew him will remember his steadfast dedication to providing for his family and the lasting lessons he passed down through the years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Ann Osburn; his daughters, Sarah (Drew) Chamberlain and Shannon (Tim) Cassity; and his son, Glenn Allen (Kelli) Osburn. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Brittany (Fred) Brown, Miranda (Ben) Duncan, Dillon (Baylee Jo) Chamberlain, Bryson (Harley) Chamberlain, Aidan Osburn, Grace Osburn, Amanda (Adam) Lucas, Zack Cassity, and special bonus grandchild Cowboy Bobby-O, as well as beloved great-grandchildren Hallie, Zoe, Jr., Tripp, Charley, Timber, Carter, Bennett, Beckham, Aidan, and AraBella, with two more expected soon. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends who will miss him dearly.
