Glenda "Sue" Vinard

Glenda "Sue" Vinard, 90, of Frankfort, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, at Wesley Manor. Born on July 9, 1935, in Clinton County to Glen and Dorothy (Pollard) Harshman, Sue graduated from Lebanon High School with the Class of 1953. On June 25, 1954, she married Donald Vinard, the love of her life, and they shared a devoted marriage until his passing in 2012.

Sue worked for more than twenty years at Mallory Controls. She found quiet joy in tending her flower garden, working through word search books, and completing jigsaw puzzles. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her family, taking special pride and delight in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sue is survived by her children, Kim Clark, Jay (Tina) Vinard, and Lisa Hefling; grandchildren, Jennifer Clark, Rachel (James) Wheet, Timmy Hefling, Jon (Lindsey) Bankert, Dustin (Meghan) Bankert, and Leah (Adam) Myers; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren, with one more on the way.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Vinard; her parents; daughter, Julie Vinard; grandchildren, Joshua Vinard, Brandon Vinard, and Maggie Hefling; sisters, Shirley Sherrill, Emma Breeze, and Mildred Spray; and sons-in-law, Roger Clark and Tim Hefling.
