Glenda was born on March 20, 1954 in Chattanooga, TN. She was a very caring and loving person. She enjoyed making crafts and shopping. She loved her dog, Roo-Roo very much. She had a green thumb that turned her garden and home into a little piece of paradise, and she cherished every moment tending to her flowers and plants. Glenda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She used to enjoy gambling, playing bingo and visiting Biloxi, Mississippi and their casinos. Her legacy will live on through the memories we shared, the values she instilled in us and the love she gave. We take solace in knowing that she is now at peace and with her loved ones that have gone before her. Her memory will live on in our hearts. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Frances Hale; and her daughter, Valerie Scoggins; her sister, Karen Hale; and her nephew Cody HaleSurvivors include her husband, Butch Scoggins; her children, Tracy Stotts and Thomas (Amanda) Anderton; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Chuck) Nunley, Brock Stotts, Dana Stotts, Thomas Anderton, Jr., Austin Anderton, Ryan Anderton, Savannah (Cameron) Germain, and Alexander Scoggins; her siblings, Randall Hale and Judy Hodge; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Services for Glenda will be private and discussed at a later date.Arrangements by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory.
