Glenda Paulette Edelhauser Davis, 80, of Wolfe City, passed away on March 10, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her family. Born on July 16, 1945, to Paul and Christine (Hoffman) Edelhauser, Paulette worked as a Purchaser and Payroll clerk at Covidien in Commerce for 17 and a half years before retiring in December 2012.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, her joy for life, and her giving nature. Paulette found great pleasure in her flowers, reading, listening to music, sewing, quilting, gardening, and spending time visiting with family and friends.

Her faith was a central part of her life. She served as a Sunday School teacher for several years at Trinity Lutheran Church, as Secretary and then Treasurer for more than 15 years at Zion Lutheran Church, and as Chapter Secretary of the LWML (Lutheran Women in Mission).

Paulette is survived by her husband of 61 years, Joe T.A. Davis, whom she married on December 5, 1964; a son, Joe Davis Jr. of Venus, Texas; and two daughters, Ladonna (Davis) Haggard and husband Clarence, and Darina Davis, all of Wolfe City, Texas. She is also survived by six grandchildren: James Dorris, Amanda Davis Franz and husband Cody, Jynifer Davis, Jonathan Haggard and wife Morgan, Skylar Haggard, and Charlyn Davis; and two great-grandchildren, Monty Haggard and Iris Haggard. Additional survivors include her sister, Linda Northcutt of Point, Texas; a brother, Garland Edelhauser and wife Judy of Wolfe City; two nieces, Dawn Manning-Priebe and Katy (Edelhauser) Russell; and three nephews, Jay Paul Manning, Matthew Wedgeworth, and Jerrod Edelhauser. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Paul Charles Edelhauser, and a sister, Leverne Marie (Edelhauser) Wedgeworth.
