Glenda Hancock

Glenda Dale Walker Hancock, 79, of Norman Park, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born on August 10, 1946, in Tifton, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Johnny B. Walker and Hattie Jackson Lewis. She retired from Radiology Associates, where she worked as an insurance coder. Glenda found deep satisfaction in tending her garden and caring for her flowers, yet nothing brought her greater joy than the time she spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsey L. “Rennie” Hancock; son, Greg Hancock; brother, L. N. Walker; and sisters, Audrey Adams, Bonnie Lewis, and Angela Wilson.

She is survived by her son, Jeff Hancock and wife Heather of Parrish, Florida; daughter, Kelli Hancock Ray and husband Brannen of Climax; daughter-in-law, Shelia Hancock; grandchildren, Vander Hampton, Jaye Hampton and wife Aubrey, Owen Hancock, Jackson Hancock, Ryan Hancock, and Justin Hancock; great-grandchildren, Landon Hancock and Caden Hancock; brothers, Danny Walker and wife Emmie of Norman Park and Larry Walker and wife Wanda of Pelham; sister, Connie Humbert of Moultrie; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
