She was born on March 5, 1940.A graveside service will be held at Crestwood Funeral Home on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.Gail was a devoted member of the Baptist faith. She graduated from Gadsden High School in 1958 and went on to earn both her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Alabama. She dedicated much of her life to education, teaching in Anniston, Huntsville, and Birmingham, Alabama.
