Glenda Faye Saylors, age 80, of Saltillo, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Born on September 7, 1945, to Fountain Hubert and Harriet Jane Robinson Hubert, she lived a life marked by deep faith, quiet generosity, and a genuine love for others.
A longtime member of West Jackson Street Baptist Church and later Brewer Baptist Church, Glenda found strength and purpose in her Christian walk. She cherished scripture and delighted in sharing God’s word with those around her. As a devoted homemaker, she created a warm and welcoming home where the door was always open and every guest was treated like family. She had a gift for making others feel comfortable and cared for, never meeting a stranger.
Glenda found joy in sewing and cooking for her loved ones, traveling with family, and creating lasting memories together. Above all, she treasured her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, who held a special place in her heart. She shared a loving marriage of 64 years with her husband, Bobby Saylors.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Saylors of Shannon; children, Linda Knippenburg of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Wayne Saylors of Tupelo, and Bobbie Jean Stivala and her husband, Mike, of Henderson, Tennessee; grandchildren, Anthony Clark of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Nickie Ehols and her husband, Jeff, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Christy Hall of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Josh Saylors and his wife, Ayla, of Tupelo, Blake Saylors and his wife, Cari, of Tupelo, Brandon Donald and his wife, Elizabeth, of Blue Springs, Austin Saylors and his wife, Tori, of Tupelo, Brittney Dill and her husband, Alston, of Mantachie, and Chelsea Carroll of Mooreville; 27 great-grandchildren and two on the way; two great-great-grandchildren and one on the way; sisters, Dorothy Robinson and her husband, Charles, of Palmetto and Mary Petrie of Tupelo; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family.
