Glenda Faye Finney Perry, age 78, of Estill Springs, Tennessee, was born on March 30, 1947, and passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 12, 2026, at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reuben Mitchell Finney and Ruthie Dimple Weddington Finney; her siblings, Cathleen Judge, Gordon Finney, Glenn Finney, Elizabeth Bratton, John Finney, Margie Weaver, Evelyn Turner, and Fred Finney; and her grandson, Hunter Perry.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years and seven months, Hubert Perry; sons Greg (Michelle) Perry and Teddy (Melissa) Perry; grandchildren Tyler Perry, Emily Perry, Austin Perry, and Madalyn Perry; sister Ruby Jo Worley; brother J. W. (Wanda) Finney; special sister-in-law Susie Weaver; and Lacy Cofer, whom she loved as a daughter.
Glenda was a loving and generous woman who cherished time with her family. She delighted in cooking Sunday lunches for them and took special joy in Christmas. For decades, her family was active in the spotted saddle horse industry, and she faithfully prepared meals for her family and customers throughout horse show season. She held a deep love for her church family at New Brick Church of Christ, and together with Hubert, she consistently reached out to help fellow members facing health or other challenges. She was widely known for her blueberry icebox pie.
Glenda worked at Carrier Air Conditioning in Morrison for more than 30 years until the plant closed in the early 2000s, forming many lasting friendships with her coworkers that she treasured throughout her life.
