Glenda Fay Thomas

Mrs. Glenda Fay Thomas of Dyersburg passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Okeena Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born on October 26, 1945, to the late Joe and Willie Dee Autry, Glenda spent many years as a dedicated and hard-working retail associate with Walmart. In retirement, she embraced a quieter pace of life, finding great joy in the company of her beloved cats, Luke and Sam. A longtime member of Springhill Baptist Church, she cherished times of worship and fellowship, and she held her family activities close to her heart.

Glenda is survived by her brother, Wayne Autry and his wife Jean; her sister, Connie Ann Kee and her husband Tommy; her nephew, Kyle Autry and his wife Amy; and her nieces, Donna Batt, Shelley Sides, Tracey Smith, and Ashley Kennedy, along with a host of great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Autry and Willie Dee Ozment Autry; her husband, David Thomas; her sisters, Frances Clift and Betty Jo Carmack; and her niece, Sandra Hubble.
