Glenda Martin ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Pierre Funeral Home on Mar. 16, 2026.Glenda Ann Martin, 86, of Evansville, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026, at Solarbron.Glenda was born on July 2, 1939, in Evansville to the late Charles F. Walker and Viola C. (Davis) Walker. She was a graduate of FJ Reitz High School and later attended nursing school to become a surgery technician. She worked as a surgery tech for over 30 years and during that time worked for Welborn Hospital, St. Mary's Hospital and Deaconess Hospital. Glenda was a strong woman and strong in her Christian faith. She enjoyed reading, fishing, boating, bird watching and loved the ocean. She especially loved her dog, Indy.Surviving Glenda are her daughters, Robin (Steve) Morris, Kim McDowell, Nancy Zinn and Beth (Steve) Scheller; nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, Glenda was preceded in death by husbands, Danny Cain, Clarence Cotton, Jr. and Theodore Martin; a brother, Charles Gary Ross; nephew, Chris Ross; son-in-law, Greg Zinn, and great granddaughter, Lyla Kerchief.Funeral services for Glenda will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Pierre Funeral Home, Rev. Terry Gamblin officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 AM until service time on Thursday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W.
