Glenda Anne Gaskin, 80, of Alpharetta died on March 8, 2026. She was the daughter of the late William Audrey Pierce and Pauline Willis Pierce.
She was an accomplished businesswoman and respected community leader with a passion for residential and commercial real estate development. Glenda was known for her vision, optimism, and dedication throughout her career. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she will be remembered for her generous spirit as an encourager and mentor to many. Glenda loved Bible studies, playing the piano, and listening to gospel hymns. Her faith, kindness, and wisdom were a blessing to all who knew her, and her legacy will continue in the lives she touched.
Glenda was also preceded in death by her husband; Saxton Gaskin, Jr. sister; Jean McCaleb, brother; Harold W. Pierce, son; William Lance Drummonds Gaskin, step-son; Darryl Drummons, and granddaughter; Chastity Gaskin.
Glenda is survived by her brother Thomas Daniel Pierce, daughter Virginia Ratcliff, step-son David Drummonds (Nancy), and grandchildren; Jessica Gaskin Gonzalez, Ralph Gonzalez, Jason Gonzalez, David Alan Drummonds, and Amy Marie Drummonds.
Funeral Services will be held March 29, 2026 in the Chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home EAST at 4:00 P.M. The family will greet friends at 3:30 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will take place at Athens Memory Gardens immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital or Emory St. Joseph Hospital Cardiac Unit.
