Glen R. Fleegle

Glen R. Fleegle, 83, of North Huntingdon, passed away on March 10, 2026. Born on October 4, 1942, in Elizabeth, he was the son of the late George Fleegle and Amanda Herbest Fleegle. Glen was a longtime member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in North Huntingdon and worked as a meat cutter for Maraccini’s in Elizabeth.

A devoted Pittsburgh sports fan, he also enjoyed gardening and cooking in his free time. Above all, Glen treasured the moments spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, who affectionately called him “Happy Pappy.”

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Grant Fleegle and Phillip Fleegle, and one sister, Beverly Salzer. He is survived by his beloved wife, Kim Novak Fleegle; his son, Shawn Fleegle; his daughter, Jennifer Vitsas, and her husband, Christopher; three sisters, Ruth Greenwald, Barbara Pierce and her husband Joe, and Linda Risku and her husband Bill; and four grandchildren, Kaylee, Kenzie, Robert “Fox,” and Grantland.
