Gladys G. "Gigi" Hobbs

Gladys G. Hobbs, affectionately known as “Gigi,” passed away unexpectedly on February 26, 2026, at her home. Born on January 30, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Geraldine (Lovell) Hobbs. As the child of a military family, Gladys moved frequently in her early years before eventually settling in Lowell.

Gigi found quiet joy in reading and cooking, earning a reputation as a truly gifted cook. She took great pride in maintaining a clean and orderly home, yet nothing brought her more happiness than her family.

She is survived by her two sons, her sisters Joanne Francis of Florida and Barbara Maze of Boise, Idaho, and her dear friend Cynthia Donovan of Lowell. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Michael Hobbs.
