Gisela Brady ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Goldfinch Funeral Home - Beach Chapel - Murrells Inlet on Mar. 13, 2026.Gisela Brady, age 89, of Murrells Inlet, passed away March 12, 2026 at her home with her family by her side.She was born March 4, 1937 in Saarbruecken, Germany, a daughter of the late Albert & Louisa Niess. Before meeting her husband, Thomas in 1965, Gisela worked as a Labor and Delivery Nurse and then went on to be a Red Cross nurse where she had the opportunity to travel the world. Gisela and Thomas married in 1967 and from then on became a dedicated wife and mother. They spent every day together up until Thomas's death in 2022. After beating cancer in 2006, Gisela began line dancing and became very active in the line dancing community. She was also an active member of the Moose Lodge.Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Thomas Michael Brady.Gisela is survived by her son, Michael Brady; daughter, Nicole Brady; grandchildren, Sarah, Shane, Sean, and Rylan; great-grandson, Axel; and a sister-in-law, Susan Brady.Memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
