Girolamo "Vito" Palazzolo passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on August 11, 1946, to Vito Palazzolo and Giuseppa Leone, Vito lived a life centered on family, friendship, and the simple joys that mattered most to him.
He shared 58 loving years of marriage with his devoted wife, Diane Palazzolo. Together they built a strong and loving family that remained the heart of his world. Vito was the proud father of Vito "Jerry" (Lynn) Palazzolo, Thomas (Amy) Palazzolo, Joseph (RoseAnn) Palazzolo, and Michael (Leslie) Palazzolo. He was a loving grandfather to Vito A. Palazzolo, Tommaso Palazzolo, Lorenzo Palazzolo, Dianna Palazzolo, Vito J. Palazzolo, Giavanna Palazzolo, Olivia Palazzolo, Dominic Palazzolo, and Vito M. Palazzolo, each of whom brought him immense pride and joy.
Vito is also survived by his siblings, Sara (Vincenzo) Palazzolo and Michele (Ornella) Palazzolo, along with many beloved nieces and nephews, including Giovanna (Vincenzo) Rimi, Filippo (Meeshell) Rimi, Michela Palazzolo, and Vito Palazzolo.
A simple man at heart, Vito cherished moments spent with the people he loved. He enjoyed gathering with friends at the coffee shop, sharing stories and laughter, and surrounding himself with family. One of his greatest pleasures was traveling to Las Vegas to visit his children and grandchildren, where he created lasting memories filled with warmth and connection. His deep investment in the lives of his family, along with his kindness, wisdom, and steady presence, will be remembered by all who knew him.
