Vultaggio, age 62, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026.Beloved mother of Marayha Vultaggio (fiancé Kevin). Loving sister of Carol Scola and Michael Vultaggio. Gina was preceded in death by her cherished parents, Vincent and Mary Alice Vultaggio (née Caruso).Gina devoted much of her life to caring for others. As a dedicated caregiver at a group home, she formed deep and lasting bonds with the residents she served, many of whom became like family to her. Known for always putting others before herself, Gina will be remembered for her loving heart, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those around her.True to her Italian roots, Gina had a strong and spirited personality, paired with a warm sense of humor. She enjoyed crafts, cooking-especially learning to make her mother's sauce-cars, and taking peaceful drives along Lake St. Clair or visiting the park. Gina also had a playful saying about herself, often calling herself "The Original," proudly pointing out the lesson her father once shared with her: you can't spell "original" without Gina.Her love, strength, and generosity will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be remembered always for her caring spirit, her stubborn strength, her laughter, and the love she gave so freely.Gina is now free from worldly suffering, and she is reunited with her beloved parents, family, and friends in Heaven. Knowing her, she has found a drumset in her new room and is playing to her heart's content.Visitation for Gina will take place on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 25800 Harper Avenue, St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.
