She was born in Plainfield, CT on February 9, 1962. Her parents were Gerard Thibeault and Edith Thibeault (Andrews). She left behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness touched all who knew her.Gina worked for many years as a hairdresser at The Beauty Hut, where she did far more than style hair - she built lasting friendships. Her chair was a place of conversation, comfort, and connection. Clients became friends, and friends became family. She had a gift for making people feel beautiful, both inside and out.Outside of work, Gina found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved playing Yahtzee, especially when it meant spending time laughing around the table with those she loved. Her playful spirit and competitive streak made every game memorable. She also loved going to the beach, feeling the sun on her face and listening to the sound of the waves. The beach was one of her happy places - a place where she could relax, reflect, and enjoy time with those she loved.Above all, Gina's greatest joy was her grandson. He was the light of her life, and she loved him beyond measure. Nothing brought her more pride or happiness than being his grandmother. Her love for him was constant, fierce, and unconditional.Gina was predeceased by her beloved husband, Scott Spaulding, who passed away 26 years to the day before her. Their love was deep and enduring, and she carried his memory with her always. It brings comfort to know they are reunited once again. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerard Thibeault and Edith Thibeault, as well as her sister Sandra (Thibeault) Serrano. She is survived by her devoted son, Keith Spaulding; her daughter-in-law, Andrea Spaulding; and her cherished grandson, Scott Spaulding. She also leaves behind her loving siblings: her brother, Rick Thibeault; and her sisters, Audra Lowe and Cheryl Thibeault. Along with many extended family members and dear friends, they will carry her memory in their hearts forever.A celebration of Gina's life will be held at Buckler-Johnson funeral home on 3/10/2026 at 12pm-2pm.
