Gilbert Gonzalez

Gilbert Gonzalez, 58, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on March 11, 2026. Born on June 5, 1967, in Corpus Christi to Ricardo and Berta Gonzalez, he graduated from Mary Carroll High School in 1985.

Preceded in death by his mother, Berta Gonzalez, Gilbert is survived by his children, Valerie (Steven), Adryano (Sumarrah), Nathanyal, Sophia, Adyna, and Lorenzo; his siblings, Richard (Veronica), Grace (Richard), Lori (Andy), Monica, and Gabriella Gonzalez; and his grandchildren, Zaevy, Axel, and Arisol, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Gilbert found great pleasure in cruising, fast cars, and Harley Davidson motorcycles, and he took pride in building and repairing things. Above all, he was a loving and devoted father who cherished every moment spent with his family. Known for his sense of humor and his genuine care for others, he was affectionately called “Bob the Cop” by his father and “Bubu” by his siblings. The love he gave so freely will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
