Gevork Vladimirovich Kyulyan, age 65, of Coweta, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday morning, March 12, 2026, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Born on October 10, 1960, in Sochi, Russia, to Vladimir Gevorkovich Kyulyan and Rauza Garifovna (Shakirova) Kyulyan, Gevork was raised in Russia, where he received his education and graduated from high school. In his younger years he worked as a chef before moving to the United States and beginning a new chapter in Oklahoma.
After settling in the state, he worked in the roofing industry as a roofer with Harness Roofing in Tulsa, where he was known as a hardworking and dependable employee. He took quiet pride in providing for his family through honest labor and steady dedication.
Gevork found joy in life’s simpler pleasures, especially fishing and spending time outdoors. Above all, he cherished the moments spent with his grandchildren, watching them grow and filling his days with their presence. He will be remembered as a devoted father and grandfather who cared deeply for his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Karina King and husband Austin; his beloved grandchildren, Keith Roman King, John King, Scarlett King, Daisy King, and Stella King; his father, Vladimir Gevorkovich Kyulyan; the mother of his daughter, Nadia Kyulyan; his sisters, Karina Vladimirovna Yanusova and Gayane Vladimirovna Shakirova; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rauza Garifovna (Shakirova) Kyulyan. A private family service will be held at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Oklahoma.
