Gerry Kenneth Reed, 75, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, due to complications of COVID-19. Born in Paducah on September 26, 1950, he was the son of the late Kenneth Reed and Kathleen Johnson. Gerry served his country as a proud U.S. Army veteran and was a longtime member of the URW Local 665.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Bonnie Reed of Bowling Green; his loving son, Michael Reed of Scottsville; five sisters; and two cherished grandchildren, Kara Reed and Kenneth Duel Reed.
A graveside service with military honors was held on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens & Mausoleum in Paducah.
