Germaine comes from the Spotted Wolf Chief family.Germaine was born in Crow Agency to James Spotted Wolf and Elaine Strange Owl on January 30, 1958. She was the only daughter in her family. She was raised by her grandparents, Patrick and Jean Spotted Wolf, alongside her brothers, Terry Spotted Wolf Sr. and James D. Spotted Wolf.Her Indian name was given in honor of her Aunt Ruby Spotted Wolf Flying.Growing up, Germaine loved listening to and playing music records. Her favorite artist was Elvis Presley.She attended Haskell Indian School for college and was employed with the Tribal Education Department for many years.Germaine is survived by her two children, Jeddi and Terrelle Spotted Wolf; three grandchildren, Oldest granddaughter Cicily Spottedwolf; and her sisters, Jamie (Spotted Wolf) Hurff and Sonja Headswift. She also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Terry L. Spotted Wolf, JD Spotted Wolf, and Gary Spang; and her grandparents, Patrick and Jean Spotted Wolf, and David and Grace Strange Owl.
