Geralynn I. “Jeri” Lyons, 84, of Cuba City, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at MercyOne Medical Center in Dubuque, Iowa.

Born on October 24, 1941 in Dickeyville, Wisconsin, Jeri was the daughter of Ervin and Pauline (Droessler) Schroeder. She graduated from Cuba City High School in 1959 and married Michael Lyons on April 12, 1969 at Holy Ghost Church in Dickeyville. He preceded her in death on March 27, 2012.

Jeri devoted herself first to raising her children before working at the Cuba City Post Office for 26 years. A devoted sports fan, she cheered for the Badgers, the Packers, and Cuba City High School teams, and took special joy in attending her grandchildren’s games. A lifelong member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, she served on the parish council, prayed with the Rosary group, and volunteered at the Cuba City Meal Site. She found quiet pleasure in baking, working jigsaw puzzles, reading, feeding the birds, and spending peaceful hours on her front porch visiting with family and friends.
