Geraldine "Gerri" Rapinesi

Geraldine “Gerri” Rapinesi, 68, of Essington, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 9, 2026. Born and raised in Southwest Philadelphia, she was the devoted mother of Marc Rapinesi and his wife Krissy. She was the daughter of the late Rita and Frank Rapinesi, sister to Rita Fran Davies and her husband Stephen, Annette Rapinesi, and Louis Rapinesi and his wife Toni. She is also survived by her nieces Arianna and Layla Franco, her beloved cats Belle and Jack, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Gerri graduated from West Catholic High School and later earned an IT degree from Drexel University. In 1991, the birth of her son Marc became the defining joy of her life; from that moment on, she devoted herself completely to his happiness and future. She was the proud owner of Gerri’s Gems and Jewels, where her love of beautiful jewelry and her warm, genuine personality drew people in and created many lasting friendships.

She found simple pleasures in cooking and baking for family and friends while listening to her favorite R&B music. Gerri cherished trips to Atlantic City, especially playing her beloved Wonder Woman games, and most of all she loved spending peaceful hours at the beach, soaking up the sun and listening to the ocean. Above everything, she treasured the time spent with those she loved, creating memories that will endure in the hearts of all who knew her.
