Gerald T. "Jerry" Gabe

Gerald T. “Jerry” Gabe, 73, of Aston, passed away on March 7, 2026. Born in Upper Darby to the late John J. and Edith Corsi Gabe, he grew up in Springfield and had lived in Aston for the past 48 years.

A graduate of Springfield High School, class of 1971, Jerry worked as Maintenance Manager at Neumann University and previously at Mirmont Care in Middletown Township. He found great joy in the outdoors, competing in fishing tournaments, and following equestrian events. A talented musician and wood carver, he was also a devoted Phillies fan. Jerry was a longtime member of St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church and Bassmasters.

He was preceded in death by his brother, John “Jack” Gabe. Jerry is survived by his brother Rick Gabe, his sister Barbara Harley and her husband Jim Harley, his niece and nephew Jill and Jeff Harley, and his lifelong friend Frank Suga.
